Description:
Review and road test drive of the Aston V8 Vantage. There are five different variations of the Vantage V8. Aston martin have tried to develop a supercar that will rival the Porsche 911, however at twenty thousand pounds more expensive, have they managed it. Forget what Clarkson reckons, his reviews tend to be a blinkered view, this is an awesome motor. Its quiet understated demeanour gives a surprising amount of presence on the road. It also has pace and is still one of the most desireable badges on the Planet today. Insurance group 20 for those that are interested. It runs on super unleaded and there engine capacities range from a 4.8 lite to a mighty 6 litre. The 'standard' V8 should retails around the £83,000 mark. It is kind of a baby DB9 or Vanquish. The looks are great, not brash or as arrogant as a 911, yet park one on the office car park or in your driveway and people will be drooling over it. The handling is good to, with a minimal amount of body roll, and direct, responsive steering. Not the most comfortable car in its class, but it is not really designed with comfort in mind, however, with several driving position adjustments, you should find a set up to suit you. The video review and road test drive of the Aston martin V8 comes courtesy of NewCarnet via YouTube. It is also well built, which is what you would expect for 80K plus. However some of the switchgear in the cabin is simply too bland. Although it won't match the BMW M6 for pace, the unmistakable snare of the V8 more than makes up for a shortfall in pace. There is also a surprising big boot. We hope you enjoy the reviews of the Aston Martin V8 Vantage.
